Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform field walkdowns to verify the accuracy and completeness of equipment and asset information prior to entry into the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Review, validate, and enter technical asset and maintenance data into CMMS platforms while ensuring compliance with established data standards and project requirements.
- Translate, cleanse, and prepare raw equipment and maintenance data for system migration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Support data migration projects by reviewing legacy system data, identifying discrepancies, and assisting with the accurate transfer of asset information into the CMMS.
- Aid in the preparation of project documentation and client status reports while tracking assigned tasks against project timelines.
- Communicate data discrepancies, project risks, or delays to the Project Manager and support timely resolution of identified issues.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and client stakeholders to collect equipment information, validate asset data, and support successful CMMS implementation activities.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to communicate project progress, discuss changes, and support change management initiatives throughout project execution.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other data management tools to organize, validate, and analyze asset and maintenance data.
- Extract and analyze CMMS data using business intelligence and reporting tools to support operational reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business decision-making.
- Provide first-line support to CMMS users by assisting with system navigation, responding to user queries, and maintaining asset and equipment records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on CMMS optimization, asset data quality, and maintenance processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to asset data, system updates, and project activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience And Key Competencies
- An associate or bachelor's degree, or trade certification, in Engineering, Maintenance, Asset Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
- At least one year of experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, maintenance systems, or asset management data.
- Experience supporting CMMS implementations, data migration projects, or maintenance data management activities is desirable.
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, with the ability to organize and maintain technical datasets.
- Familiarity with maintenance, calibration, asset management, or engineering documentation processes.
- Exposure to business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire is considered advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review, validate, and maintain technical asset data.
- Ability to perform equipment field verification and collect asset information accurately within operational environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to identify data issues, recommend improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to learn new software platforms and business processes quickly while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
