CMMS Engineer
About the role
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. We are currently seeking a CMMS Engineer to serve as a system matter expert within Amazon data center region. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to design, develop and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both effective contributions as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the process from start to finish with deploying the EAM platform in your data center region
- Work to support local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training
- Help drive global processes and document development as part of the global EAM team
- Act as the gatekeeper for mission critical data in EAM, responsible for the accuracy and reports produced in EAM
- Help develop systems enhancement modules of core and advanced modules to meet Regional or Global business requirements on a frequent basis
- Travel approximately 20% when launching new locations
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or 3+ years of facilities management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- 2+ years of data-driven business operations processes experience
- Experience in business intelligence and analytics
- 2+ years SQL Server database query and reporting experience using ETL, data warehouse, and SSAS/SSRS tools
- Working knowledge in EAM equipment hierarchy, object coding and naming convention
Requirements
- Must have worked within a data center environment
- Effective May 15, 2017, logical access to the AWS GovCloud region will be restricted to Amazon employees who are U.S. Citizens (GovCloud may NOT be accessed from outside of the United States)
Pay
USA, NV, SPARKS - 96,000.00 - 166,300.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
