About the role
The Design Consultant delivers highly personalized, whole-home design solutions through active listening, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. This full-time (40+ hours per week) position begins with a 12-week paid training program ($800/week) and transitions to an uncapped commission structure with bonus opportunities.
Training
Twelve-week paid training at $800 per week. The first four weeks require showroom hours Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm.
Responsibilities
- Commute to customers’ homes and design custom storage solutions using proprietary CAD software.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by pursuing referrals and repeat business.
- Follow up continuously with customers and collaborate with the installation team to ensure job completion.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions.
- Manage a portfolio of projects and clients of varying complexity in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Interior design education, direct industry experience, or in-home sales experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and experience with laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices required.
- Previous experience with Salesforce, CAD, or design software preferred.
- Creative, detail-oriented mindset with a sense of craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
