Clinical Team Lead
About the role
This position works with the Clinical Supervisor to help oversee delivery of consumer support services for an assigned location. You will supervise personnel to achieve service, clinical, and financial objectives within available resources and reimbursement models, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through quality assurance activities, and provide services that promote consumer choice and facilitate independence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach staff.
- Hire new employees, coordinate staff schedules across locations, and deliver corrective actions when needed.
- Assist with clinical oversight of all services at the assigned location.
- Assist the Clinical Director with organizing admissions and discharges.
- Conduct assessments (e.g., Diagnostic, LOCUS, Mental Health Review, Suicidal, and evaluation of danger/risk levels).
- Interpret and summarize findings with recommended treatment/rehabilitation activities and goals.
- Provide clinical input and supervision of treatment and plan development.
- Prevent crises at the lowest level possible before escalation.
- Provide direct service to clients, including individual and group counseling services.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings for the location in the absence of the Clinical Director.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
- Ensure quality assurance for the outcomes of persons served and service outcomes.
- Oversee compliance with the location’s license, federal and state laws, and CARF accreditation.
- Ensure all documentation is completed as required.
- Report significant/major incidents or accidents and cooperate in external/internal investigations as requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manage assigned personnel.
- Complete performance evaluations, orientation, and training.
- Make decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions.
- Resolve employee problems within position responsibilities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 4,000 hours (post-BA) of verifiable work experience providing services and support to individuals with mental illness.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
- Licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist, LPCC, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance.

- Travel as needed.
Physical Requirements
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
Pay
$71,000–$73,000 per year.
