Role Overview
This position involves providing nursing leadership within a dynamic healthcare setting, focusing on patient care, staff supervision, and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Supervising nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Rounding to patient care units and maintaining direct contact with employees, visitors, patients, and physicians.
- Adhering to infection control policies and utilizing appropriate PPE.
- Performing duties that require frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing school with a minimum of 3 years of progressive nursing experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and prior supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
- Required: Current RN license in the state and CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
- Preferred: Certification in Nursing Administration and ACLS certification.
