Clinical Supervisor - Nursing

Role Overview

This position involves providing nursing leadership within a dynamic healthcare setting, focusing on patient care, staff supervision, and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Rounding to patient care units and maintaining direct contact with employees, visitors, patients, and physicians.
  • Adhering to infection control policies and utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Performing duties that require frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school with a minimum of 3 years of progressive nursing experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and prior supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
  • Required: Current RN license in the state and CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Preferred: Certification in Nursing Administration and ACLS certification.

Additional Information

The role involves working primarily in a mobile capacity across various units, with exposure to all age groups and access to sensitive patient information under HIPAA regulations.
