Clinical Supervisor - Nursing

About the Role

This position involves providing advanced nursing care, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. The role requires adherence to infection control policies and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Round on patient care units
• Interact with patients, visitors, and staff
• Maintain a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and infection control policies

Requirements

• Minimum of a Nursing diploma from an accredited school
• Three years of progressive nursing experience
• Current New York State RN license
• CPR certification

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Supervisory experience in a hospital setting
• Certifications in Nursing Administration and ACLS

Work Environment

• Primarily mobile work, with over 70% spent on rounds and direct contact with staff and patients
• Involves walking, standing, bending, lifting, and working in a fast-paced, interruption-heavy setting
• Use of PPE as per infection control policies

Additional Details

Serves all age groups and has Level 4 access to patient information under HIPAA roles.
