About the role

Registered Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit at a Level I Trauma Center, providing direct patient care across diverse medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and communicate individualized care plans.
• Use critical thinking to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance, along with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree and RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two or more years of experience.
