Oversees daily operations of an acute care unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise clinical staff and manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource use
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Drive quality improvement initiatives
- Assume operational responsibilities in the absence of leadership
- Provide direct patient care within RN scope when needed
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BSN preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- 1 year of leadership experience preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., CCRN, NRP) are advantageous
