About the Role

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) oversees daily operations of an acute care unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. The role involves mentoring staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and stepping in as the unit leader in the absence of management. The supervisor also provides direct patient care within RN scope as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical staff and manage staffing and workflow.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Act as the unit leader in the absence of management.
• Provide direct patient care within RN scope when necessary.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as CCRN or NRP are advantageous.
