About the role
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) oversees operations in an acute care unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily nursing activities and supervise staff
- Manage staffing, workflow, and resources
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Drive quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as the unit leader in the absence of department management
- Provide direct patient care within RN scope as needed
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Preferred Certifications: CCRN and NRP
