About the Role

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) oversees and leads nursing operations in an acute care hospital unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. The role involves managing staffing, workflow, and resource allocation, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, drive quality improvement, and step in as the unit leader or provide direct patient care when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead nursing operations in an acute care hospital unit.
• Manage staffing, workflow, and resource allocation.
• Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive quality improvement.
• Serve as the unit leader or provide direct patient care as needed.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Additional certifications (e.g., CCRN or NRP) are desirable.
