Clinical Manager
Responsibilities
- Coordinator of all program treatment services
- Maintains approved program concepts and procedures
- Makes decisions about admissions, discharges, and extensions of treatment
- Works closely with Treatment Director, Community Relations, and Counseling and Referral Service staff regarding patient referrals or treatment
- Delivers community service activities as requested
- Maintains all treatment schedules, staff schedules, and arbitrates treatment staff issues
- Directs treatment practices and monitors performance
- Maintains clinical supervision log
- Maintains treatment staff growth, development, and training
- Serves on Quality Improvement Management program and all assigned committees
- Makes counselor/patient assignments, schedules counseling personnel, and ensures all treatment events are delivered properly and on time
- Coordinates all treatment staff meetings or case conferences
- Provides clinical supervision or directs supervision to be provided to clinical staff
- Participates in Utilization Review process and represents knowledge of patient status relative to clinical and financial matters
- Mediates patient and family concerns regarding delivery of care
- Hires and trains clinical staff
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and prepares for regulatory visits
- Enforces Bradford Health Services Policies
- Assumes on-call status as assigned by Facility CEO/Regional Director
- Trains and develops clinical staff in new approaches
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social science or a related field from an accredited college or university
- ALC, LPC, LCSW, or LMSW license required
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in addiction treatment and management
- Preferred: 1 year of supervisory experience
- Preferred: LAADC 2
