About the role
The Clinical Manager oversees the daily operations of clinical services within a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include leading and supervising clinical staff, developing and implementing clinical policies, coordinating patient care activities, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, managing budgets and staffing, facilitating training, and serving as a point of contact for patient concerns.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise clinical staff, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess clinical performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage budgeting, staffing, and scheduling to support clinical operations and meet organizational objectives.
- Serve as a point of contact for patient concerns, resolving issues promptly to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Analyze clinical data and prepare reports to inform leadership decisions and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Full supervision licensure (LPC-S, LPC-MHSP, NCC, ACS, LCSW) required upon hire.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Two years of experience in managing clinical programs preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in managing clinical programs preferred.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment or specialized clinical setting.
- Demonstrated success in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in a healthcare context.
