Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary supervisor for the program’s multi-disciplinary team, including Social Service Supervisors, Case Managers, and Client Care Coordinators.
- Provide supervision to Social Service Supervisors to address client issues and enhance their clinical case management skills.
- Supervise Client Care Coordinators to ensure they provide supportive counseling to clients.
- Offer coaching, training, and staff development to the Social Service team, integrating social work values and a clinical lens into program services.
- Oversee the supportive housing process and train staff in Evidence Based Practices (EBP), Trauma Informed Care (TIC), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Conduct audits of the Uniform Client Chart and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Create and maintain partnerships with community agencies to provide necessary services for shelter residents.
- Engage in community outreach and liaise with ancillary programs to optimize care coordination and referrals.
- Monitor incident follow-ups and provide direct client care and assessments during crises.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to identify and consult on care for high-risk clients, making clinical decisions regarding client care and safety.
- Maintain case conferences with families and hold monthly interdisciplinary meetings for long-term stayers.
- Liaise with ACS and attend related meetings, serving as a Mandated Reporter to ACS as needed.
- Support the Program Director in preparing reports for Win and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Commitment to Win’s mission, vision, and values.
- Current NYS LCSW or LMHC license and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating groups and developing curricula.
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness and substance abuse, particularly with homeless families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.
Pay
$90,000 per year
Schedule
Must be able to ascend/descend stairs, escort clients to appointments, work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
