Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership for behavioral health services
- Provide clinical consultation, case review, and treatment recommendations to interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, clinical standards, and organizational policies
- Assist in the development, implementation, and expansion of behavioral health and addiction medicine services
- Facilitate and oversee psychoeducational, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented groups
- Develop evidence-based group curricula focused on mental health, substance use disorders, coping skills, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention
- Support the development, implementation, and oversight of Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services and other structured treatment programming as organizational needs evolve
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, FQHC, and organizational requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
- Monitor documentation quality and conduct clinical chart audits
- Support accreditation, regulatory audits, and compliance reviews
- Review and update behavioral health policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
- Foster collaborative relationships with referral sources, hospitals, schools, community agencies, and healthcare partners
- Participate in outreach activities designed to increase access to behavioral health services
- Support development of referral pathways and community partnerships
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment
- Prior experience providing clinical oversight and leadership of multidisciplinary teams
- Experience facilitating behavioral health, psychoeducational, substance use disorder, and recovery-oriented groups
- Experience working within outpatient behavioral health, integrated care, FQHC, IOP, PHP, or substance use treatment settings
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Relapse Prevention
- Experience treating individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Experience with program development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical operations management
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
