About the Role

The Registered Nurse Coordinator PACU oversees daily operations in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, providing leadership, staff management, and resource coordination to ensure quality patient care. This role supports a team committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgical teams and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage staffing levels based on patient acuity and census data.
• Participate in staff hiring, performance evaluations, and development.
• Monitor supplies and equipment, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical consultant and demonstrate direct patient care when needed.
• Align unit goals with organizational standards and policies.

Requirements

• RN licensure in Illinois.
• 2+ years of acute care experience.
• Leadership experience (preferred).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
