About the role

The Registered Nurse Coordinator PACU leads and manages patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, ensuring effective resource utilization and fostering collaboration among interdisciplinary teams. They oversee daily operations, support surgical teams to achieve quality outcomes, and coordinate staffing based on patient acuity and census data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois
• Certification in AHA Heartsaver CPR
• 2 years of acute care experience
• 1 year of leadership experience (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
