Location: Arlington Heights. Type: Full-Time.
Responsibilities
- Providing clinical leadership and operational coordination for perioperative services
- Overseeing daily workflow, staffing, resource management, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Coordinating patient flow and department throughput
- Supporting staff development, orientation, and competency initiatives
- Participating in quality and performance improvement activities
- Ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and professional standards
- Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Managing supplies and equipment availability
- Serving as a clinical resource and direct patient care provider as needed
Qualifications
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Valid IL RN License and BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in peri-anesthesia, OR, or critical care preferred
- Leadership or charge nurse experience advantageous
- Strong critical thinking, team-building, communication, and leadership skills
- Competency in caring for patients across all age groups within the specialty
