About the Role
Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for perioperative services, including managing daily workflow, staffing, resource allocation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient flow
- Support nursing staff and adjust staffing based on acuity
- Collaborate with surgical teams
- Oversee supplies and equipment
- Participate in direct patient care
- Promote staff development
- Lead quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure policy and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- ADN required, BSN preferred
- Active Illinois RN license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in peri-anesthesia, OR, or critical care
- Leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and team-building skills
- Competency across all patient age groups
