Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care, including taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and phlebotomy.
• Provide bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, and skin care.
• Deliver patient care appropriate to the age of patients, ensuring safety and effective outcomes.
• Exercise practice, judgment, and critical actions to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding patient status.
• Collaborate on the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 16 hours per week (2 shifts per week)
• Includes every other weekend and some holidays

Pay

The anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $20.11 - $28.67 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
