Clinical Care Technician Post Coronary Care Unit

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility—caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Responsibilities

• Absolutely assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG's.
• Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care.
• Participate in collaboration of the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• BLS required. (American Heart Association)
• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Certified nursing assistant preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey is $21.04 - $26.19 per hour.
