About the role
The Clinical Care Pharmacist manages patient and provider communications, ensures accurate prescription processing, and performs pre-verification to uphold quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
- Managing inbound and outbound communications with patients and providers
- Counseling patients
- Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
- Active AZ Pharmacist license
- Customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of state laws
- Strong multitasking skills
- Ability to read and apply clinical knowledge
- Experience with call center software
