Clinical Assessor - Maryland BCBA

About the role

The Clinical Assessor is responsible for providing clinical assessments to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field, and a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardized tools and techniques to gather data on individual needs and abilities.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide ongoing support and training to families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Keep abreast of best practices and research in applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• A current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Experience in conducting assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
