Client Technology SAP: Technology Presales Architect

About the role

As an EY SAP Technology Presales, you will directly assist EY and clients in creating efficient, optimized, and precise pursuit proposals that leverage EY's technology assets and capabilities to transform and manage their businesses. Your responsibilities include interacting with clients to gather requirements, translating these into solutions that align with client objectives, leading the technology aspect of pursuit teams, and providing technical guidance to ensure successful implementation.

Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: Harvest requirements from clients and translate them into solutions meeting client objectives. Lead the technology aspect of pursuit teams.
• Pursuit Shaping: Provide thought leadership, define solutions, and assess technical delivery possibilities and costs for critical business solutions using EY's SAP technology.
• Technology Presales Development: Work with internal stakeholders to develop pursuit standards, guidelines, and procedures, enhancing the success rate of client pursuits.
• Presales / Pursuit Architecture & Solutioning: Develop and support end-to-end solution architectures, ensuring alignment with overall Enterprise Architecture and IT Roadmaps.
• Technology Gap Addressing: Identify and address identified technology gaps through established channels, contributing to innovative and creative mitigation plans.
• Current and Target Architecture: Understand current and transition architectures, and develop roadmaps to reach target architectures.
• Communication and Collaboration: Present solutions to clients, collaborate with delivery teams, and coach business owners and pursuit leads.

Requirements

Essential functions include presales/architecture and solutioning for mid to large-scale pursuits, providing thought leadership, and ensuring alignment with client objectives. You must have a deep understanding of SAP technology and EY's SAP drivers, products, tools, and processes. Expertise in technology, business development, and strategic thinking is crucial.

• Experience in large-scale multi-technology, data, and analytics deals
• Technical expertise in applications, infrastructure, digital, and security
• Experience in solution writing, client presentations, and communication
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to interact with a global audience and develop strategic relationships
• Business acumen and ability to identify and mitigate technical risks
• Leadership and negotiation skills
• Experience in offshore/onsite working models and managing diverse geographies and cultures
• Certifications in Agile Delivery, DevOps, TOGAF, or IASA
• Knowledge of service management frameworks, especially ITIL V3/V4

Pay

The base salary range for this role in the US is $120,700 to $225,800, with a higher range for the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento).
