Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain client, policy, and claim data into company systems. - Ensure all records are up-to-date and comply with industry standards.
  • Submission Preparation: Gather required documents and information for new business, renewals, and endorsements. - Assist in completing insurance applications and preparing submissions for carriers. - Coordinate with account managers to meet submission deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing routine inquiries and requests. - Provide timely updates to clients regarding their policies, endorsements, or claims. - Escalate complex issues to account managers for resolution.
  • Task Management: Organize and prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow. - Track outstanding items, such as renewal documentation and client follow-ups. - Support account managers in meeting client needs and departmental goals.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and documentation as needed. - Maintain electronic and physical filing systems in an organized and secure manner. - Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and assist with other clerical duties.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology and processes is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous administrative or customer service experience in an insurance or financial services setting.
  • Experience with insurance management systems or submission platforms.
