Client Accounting Training & Development Specialist
About the role
We are seeking a Client Accounting Training & Development Specialist to join our Firm. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing learning and development programs that support the needs of the Client Accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement learning and development programs for the Client Accounting department, including training in business applications, professional skills, and Client-specific processes and procedures.
- Test new programs, develop new processes, and create, revise, deliver, and track all training necessary to manage change and integrate new programs and processes into the daily work routine.
- Schedule, track, and provide training to a diverse group of users, including managers and supervisors, all groups within the department, and new hires.
- Create, update, and maintain training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, training manuals, handouts, practice exercises, and system documentation.
- Evaluate and revise training and development programs as necessary to adapt to the changing needs of the department and our Clients.
- Keep training programs interactive and engaging for trainees.
- Conduct technical and professional skills training sessions tailored for specific users' roles, departments, and level of experience.
- Work with managers/supervisors on transitioning new hires from training to mentoring.
- Test software upgrades and implementations, document new/modified procedures, create and provide training, assist with developing test cases, identify people to test, troubleshoot issues, and conduct follow-up.
Qualifications
- Experience in legal billing.
- Ability to gain a strong command of new systems, including Aderant Expert and Star Collect.
- Expert knowledge of Excel and entire MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and communicate steps needed for resolution.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism, maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all interactions with partners, attorneys, professional staff, clients, and others.
- Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
- Able to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Flexibility to accommodate various time zones and work with a global workforce.
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.

Pay
The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
