Cleared Senior ServiceNow Developer
About the role
Cleared Senior ServiceNow Developer responsible for supporting the standup, configuration, and implementation of various ServiceNow modules including ITSM, OMT, TSM, TSOM, and Workforce Management. Duties include creating and maintaining forms, reports, views, workflows, groups, roles, dashboards, and integrations. The position also involves coordinating and supporting application and platform upgrades, assisting with business process re-engineering, identifying trends in customer data, and providing technical support.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain ServiceNow forms, reports, views, workflows, groups, and roles
- Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports
- Configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc.)
- Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
- Assist with design, creation, and cataloging of business process flows
- Propose solutions based on business needs and strategies
- Design and build ServiceNow applications and integrate with other applications and platforms
- Support data migration as needed
- Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing business needs
- Utilize available programming methodologies and languages while adhering to coding standards
- Provide strong development and project management skills
- Work with junior developers to guide and coach them
- Support data migration as needed
- Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards
- Integrate data from multiple data sources into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Mentor junior developers

Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, or Ogden, UT for full-time on-site support
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6-10 years of relevant experience
- At least 6 years of experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure
- At least 4 years of ServiceNow development
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently, prioritize, and schedule tasks
- Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop and present management-level briefings
- Potential and willingness to learn and adapt to rapid changes in technology
- Willingness to assist and train junior developers
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow CSM Pro Plus Suite Certified
- Experience or familiarity with Agile development and testing methodology
- Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc.
- Experience with JIRA, Git, and Confluence
- Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified
- AWS cloud and ServiceNow certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
- Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and test
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams
- Experience using SAFe as the agile development methodology
- Experience moving from a legacy application to a new application
- Experience applying test automation, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment to achieve built-in quality by the team
- Experience using Kanban to improve flow on support teams
- Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation
