Claims Adjuster – Attorney Represented Injury
Duties & Responsibilities
- Determines coverage and liability
- Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
- Settle claims and set reserves
- Evaluate cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
- Analyze and interpret medical reports
- Follow-up with no-fault parties
- Manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
- Interview, collect, and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police
Must-have Qualifications
- Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
- A valid driver's license and auto insurance
Preferred Skills
- Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
- Twelve months injury claims experience
Pay
You'll be paid $75,600 to $98,000 depending on experience.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continued coaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than four days per month.
