Claims Adjuster – Attorney Represented Injury

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Determines coverage and liability
  • Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
  • Settle claims and set reserves
  • Estimate cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
  • Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
  • Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police

An Ideal Candidate

  • Experience managing an inventory independently
  • Experience assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages
  • Working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims

Location

This role is available in Federal Way and Spokane Valley, WA.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
  • {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required

Preferred Skills

  • Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
  • Twelve months injury claims experience

Pay & Benefits

  • You'll be paid $30.29 - $39.23/hour depending on experience for Spokane Valley area
  • You'll be paid $33.37 - $43.17/hour depending on experience for Seattle area
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
