Claims Adjuster – Attorney Represented Injury

Duties & Responsibilities

• Determines coverage and liability
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
• Settle claims and set reserves
• Evaluate cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process
• To ensure efficient resolution
• Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police

Must-have Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance

Preferred Skills

• Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
• Twelve months injury claims experience

Pay

You'll be paid $69,400 to $89,800 depending on experience.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continued coaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than four days per month.
