Claims Adjuster - Attorney Represented Injury

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Determines coverage and liability
  • Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
  • Settle claims and set reserves
  • Evaluate and interpret medical reports
  • Follow-up with no-fault parties
  • Manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
  • Interview, collect, and document information from various people

Must-have Qualifications

  • Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
  • OR One year in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree
  • OR Three years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling and an associate degree
  • Current or prior Missouri Injury Experience Required

Preferred Skills

  • Auto and/or commercial insurance experience

Pay

$68,804 - $84,048 based on experience

Schedule

This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continued coaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than four days per month.
