Claims Adjuster – Attorney Represented Injury

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Determines coverage and liability
  • Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
  • Settle claims and set reserves
  • Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
  • Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
  • Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police

Must-have Qualifications

  • Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
  • {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance

Preferred Skills

  • Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
  • Twelve months injury claims experience

Compensation

  • Fresno area: $30.29 - $39.23/hour depending on experience
  • Irvine, Modesto, Riverside, Sacramento, San Diego area: $33.37 - $43.17/hour depending on experience
  • Concord, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, Thousand Oaks, Torrance area: $36.35 - $43.17/hour depending on experience

  • Annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
