About the role
The Chef de Cuisine at Ghost Tree Grill is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and managing the kitchen staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu development, food preparation, and service quality.
- Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and consistent food production.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new dishes and maintain the restaurant’s signature menu.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional chef experience, preferably in a high-end restaurant setting.
- Proven track record of success in managing a kitchen team.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Experience with menu development and cost control.
- Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients.
Qualifications
- Valid food handler’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in French and English.

Pay
$X per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM, with occasional weekend shifts.
