Charge RN - MedSurg, Nights

Role Overview: Provides and coordinates high-quality nursing care across all patient age groups, managing clinical and operational responsibilities during shifts. Acts as a resource and communicates patient and departmental issues effectively to leadership. Responsibilities Deliver safe, patient-centered care and address operational challenges.Serve as a clinical resource and guide to staff.Coordinate care delivery, promote health and safety, and evaluate patient outcomes.Ensure ethical practice and effective communication.Collaborate with patients and healthcare teams to optimize care.Lead initiatives to improve practice quality and integrate evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ preferred.Valid RN licensure (Georgia or multistate), BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certifications required.Additional certifications based on specialty area (e.g., NRP, PEARS, ENPC, TNCC).Ability to collect, analyze, and develop individualized care plans, communicate effectively, and practice ethically.Strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, safety, and continuous learning.
