Charge RN - MedSurg, Nights

This role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care for patients across the lifespan, while managing operational issues during the shift. Responsibilities include providing clinical care as needed based on patient census, communicating patient care details, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership, and serving as a resource and guide for staff members. Qualifications Graduate from a nursing program (Required); Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)Minimum of 1 year of hospital nursing experience (Required); 2+ years (Preferred)Current RN license in Georgia or multistate license (Required)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)Advanced specialty certifications relevant to the field (Required)Additional certifications including ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and Pediatric PALS depending on unit requirements (All Required) Skills & Duties Coordinate patient care and operational activities during assigned shiftCommunicate effectively with staff and leadership about patient and departmental issuesServe as a clinical resource and guide for nursing staffMaintain necessary licensure and certifications for specialized care areas
