About the role

We are seeking an experienced Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership in a Medical Specialties unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit operations
• Coordinate patient care and assignments
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor
• Promote teamwork
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Monitor patient flow and staffing
• Round on patients
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams
• Support quality initiatives
• Participate in staff development
• Manage operational tasks

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate degree or diploma, BSN preferred)
• Recent acute care nursing experience
• Current Georgia RN license or Multi-State Compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
