About the role
We are seeking a Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership in the Medical Specialties unit.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily unit operations
- Supporting staff
- Cooking patient flow
- Ensuring compliance with standards
- Promoting teamwork and communication among care teams
- Serving as a clinical resource
- Mentoring nursing staff
- Monitoring patient care
- Partnering with physicians
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Aiding with staffing
- Scheduling
- Survey readiness
- Operational tasks
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree or Diploma required; BSN preferred)
- Recent acute care nursing experience
- Current RN licensure (Georgia or Multi-State Compact)
- BLS certification required
