About the Role

The RN Clinical Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care through effective team leadership and resource management. They serve as a clinical resource and mentor to team members while coordinating interdisciplinary communication and supporting best practices.

Responsibilities

• Make patient assignments and manage hospital bed flow
• Conduct patient rounds and collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes
• Practice evidence-based, patient-centered care and promote safety
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Support research and implementation of best practices
• Handle staffing and resource planning
• Participate in hospital committees to foster a culture of excellence and continuous growth

Requirements

• Licensure as a registered nurse (RN)
• Clinical expertise in the relevant specialty
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adherence to professional standards and ethics
