Job Requirements
- Required Graduate of a RN nursing program.
- Upon hire: Registered Nurse: NE, Basic Life Support - CPR, within 5 - months, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 5 - months, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 - months
Responsibilities
- Oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients.
- Advocate for your fellow nurses and support them in reaching their full potential.
- Support the operational goals and objectives of your department.
- Communicate effectively in both 1:1 interactions and in front of groups.
- Hold tough conversations related to the performance of your people and your unit.
- Support staffing, scheduling, staff development, certification tracking, and performance management activities.
- Aid in budget goals, payroll monitoring, and responsible resource utilization.
- Promote departmental goals, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff communication, education, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clinical expertise, serve as a specialty resource, model professional and clinical excellence, and ensure quality patient care.
