Charge Nurse (RN) - ICU

Responsibilities

• Lead unit activities during assigned shift, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care.
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and document nursing care, developing complex individual care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Identify and resolve gaps in care, proactively addressing patient condition changes and consulting with team members as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, participate in practice improvement initiatives, and support professional development and leadership activities.
• Enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes by evaluating patient and family experiences and adjusting care accordingly.
• Perform direct patient care when necessary, functioning as a clinical resource for staff.

Qualifications

• Associates or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience; 5-10 years preferred.
• Valid RN license required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is not mandatory.
