About the role
Charge Nurse on the Mom/Baby unit, responsible for overseeing clinical operations during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing, patient flow, and operational activities.
- Deliver expert postpartum and newborn care.
- Serve as a resource for bedside nurses, support staff, and providers.
- Ensure delivery of safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care.
- Collaborate across disciplines and mentor team members.
- Support quality and safety improvement initiatives.
