About the role
Coordinates and delivers high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts. Provides clinical support as needed, communicates patient and staff concerns, and serves as a resource for team guidance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, effective nursing practice by analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating care delivery, promoting health, and evaluating outcomes.
- Lead and collaborate with staff, practice ethically and inclusively, and utilize evidence-based resources to enhance care quality.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's preferred. Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ preferred. Valid RN licensure in the relevant state and BCLS certification. Required certifications include ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and specialized unit certifications such as PEARS, TNCC, ENPC, and more depending on the department. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, develop care strategies, communicate effectively, and practice ethically. Ability to obtain additional certifications within specified timeframes based on specialty area. This role emphasizes clinical expertise, leadership, collaboration, and ongoing professional development to ensure comprehensive patient care.
