Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Ortho, Nights

About the Role

Coordinates and delivers high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts. Provides clinical care as needed, communicates patient and departmental concerns, and serves as a resource for staff guidance.

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective care coordination and advocates for patient safety.
• Promotes a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and leads within the practice setting.
• Integrates evidence-based practices to improve nursing quality and outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and specialty certifications (e.g., NICU, Women's Services, Emergency) as required by the unit.
