Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Nights

Role: Provides and coordinates high-quality nursing care for patients across all age groups, addressing clinical and operational needs during each shift. Acts as a resource and communicates effectively with staff and leadership to ensure patient safety and departmental efficiency. Responsibilities Delivers direct patient care based on assessed needs and develops individualized care plans.Coordinates care delivery, promotes safety, and evaluates patient progress.Communicates patient and departmental concerns to appropriate leaders.Supports staff guidance and ensures adherence to clinical standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ preferred.Current RN licensure in Georgia or multistate licensure.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and unit-specific credentials.Additional certifications vary by specialty, such as TNCC, ENPC, or fetal monitoring programs.Demonstrates comprehensive clinical knowledge, strong communication, ethical practice, and ability to collaborate effectively.
