Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Nights

Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care across various hospital units, coordinating patient care, addressing operational issues, and serving as a resource for staff. Responsibilities: Coordinates delivery of quality care from birth through the lifecycle, communicates patient and departmental updates, and supports staff guidance and assistance. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's preferred.Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ preferred.Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure.Certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and additional specialty certifications based on unit. Key Duties: Collects and analyzes patient data, develops and implements individualized care plans, coordinates care delivery, promotes safety, practices ethically, and collaborates with stakeholders. Leadership, ongoing education, evidence-based practice, and environmental safety are emphasized.
