Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Nights

Role: Provides high-quality nursing care across patient populations, coordinating clinical services and operational issues during shifts. Acts as a resource and communicates patient and staff concerns to leadership. Responsibilities: Delivers patient-centered care from birth through the lifecycle, manages care plans, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborates with healthcare teams, promotes a safe environment, and evaluates care outcomes. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; more preferred.Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and unit-specific certifications such as ENPC, TNCC, or Labor and Delivery certifications based on specialty. Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, leadership, and collaboration. Ability to analyze assessment data, develop care plans, and incorporate evidence-based practices. Commitment to ethical practice, diversity, and safety.
