About the Role
Provides and coordinates high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and communicates patient and departmental updates to leadership. Acts as a resource and guidance for staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical care.
- Address operational issues during shifts.
- Communicate effectively with staff and leadership.
- Serve as a resource for nursing staff.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Valid Georgia RN license and/or multistate licensure.
- Required certifications include:
- BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy
- NRP
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- PEARS
- PALS for pediatric care (depending on unit)
- Experience in emergency, labor/delivery, or pediatric nursing is advantageous.
