Charge Nurse - Critical Care, Nights

About the role

This role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care for patients across all age groups, while managing operational issues during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical care as needed based on patient census
• Communicating patient care updates, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership
• Serving as a resource and guide for nursing staff

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting (2 or more years preferred)
• Valid Georgia RN licensure or multistate licensure
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS
• Additional certifications depending on unit: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring and PALS for pediatric care
