Charge Nurse - Critical Care, Nights

About the Role

This role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care across all patient age groups and managing operational issues during shifts. The position serves as a resource, offering guidance and support to nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care delivery based on patient census needs.
• Address and manage operational issues during shifts.
• Communicate patient, departmental, and staff concerns effectively to leadership.
• Serve as a resource and guide for nursing staff.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid RN license in Georgia and/or multistate licensure.

Qualifications

• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS.
• Additional specialty certifications as applicable.
• Experience in emergency or specialized units is preferred.
• Certifications like PALS must be obtained within specified timelines if necessary.
