About the Opportunity
The Charge Capture Representative Associate role is designed to ensure accurate and timely capture of billable charges from clinical documentation within emergency care settings. This position supports financial and operational accuracy by reviewing medical records and working closely with clinical and operational teams to resolve discrepancies and improve charge capture processes.
Responsibilities
- Review clinical documentation and accurately assess charges for emergency services.
- Use electronic medical records, including EPIC, to capture all billable charges.
- Identify inconsistencies in medical reports and collaborate with leadership and operations to address them.
- Process and complete charge entry in compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist with audits as needed.
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and clinical teams to manage service requests and inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Availability to work full time, Monday through Friday, during business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC system.
- Billing and business office experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Clerical or administrative support experience.
- Familiarity with metric-driven work environments.
- Experience in healthcare industry and health insurance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay
Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $29 based on experience and other factors.
